As most of you know, I'm a lover of all things Disney! So you can only imagine how excited I was to learn last year that they were busy working on a new princess movie!
Unfortunately I never got to see it in the movies, but I did something far better! I stayed at home and snuggled under a warm wooly blanket with my little sister, as we giggled, sang and held hands throughout the whole movie. I'll admit that as much as I despised the evil prince, and adored the cute couple Anna and Kristoff made, it was Disney's new found magic of the love between sisters that made me fall in love with Frozen!
What was your favourite part about Frozen?
What You'll Need
~ Note ~
Taking your snow white yarn, cut 3 strands of yarn, making sure every strand is at least 60 inches long. Then make a simple knot into a stitch at the bottom of your hat.
In the next stitch, knot only 2 strands of yarn. Continue alternating between knotting 1-3 strands of yarn into every stitch, all around the bottom of the hat. This will create that thick and luscious Disney princess hair that we all know and love!
Now, starting at the front of the hat towards the left, gently start twisting the hair till you reach the right hand side. Then, twist any of the leftover yarn around the back of the hat, till it reaches the first twist. Now create one big braid, combining all the twists/hair together. Braid the hair until it measures approx 13 inches in length. Now tie a piece of yarn around the bottom of the braid to fasten it off, before trimming the ends of the braid.
Taking your 4.50mm crochet hook and DK turquoise yarn, start of by making a Slip Knot, then crochet 19 Chains.
