The result?.. These cute little berry stitches, all crocheted in an uneven pattern to create a truly interesting finished design!

Stitches & Abbreviations
Berry Stitch (berry st) - Yarn over, insert hook into next st, yarn over and pull back through st. Yarn over, pull through 1st loop on hook. Yarn over and insert hook into same st, yarn over and pull back through st. Yarn over, pull through 1st loop on hook. Yarn over, pull through all 5 loops on hook, ch1.
Chain in multiples of 2.
Pattern:
Row 1- Skip 2 ch (counts as 1st sc), 1 sc in 3rd ch from hook. 1 sc in every ch. Turn your work.
Row 2- Ch1 (counts as 1st sl st). *1 berry st in next st. Sl st in next st. Repeat from the * all across, ending with a sl st in turning ch. Turn your work.
Row 3- Ch2 (counts as 1st sc). *Sl st in next berry st. 1 sc in next sl st. Repeat from the * all across, ending with a sc in turning ch. Turn your work.
Row 4- Ch1 (counts as 1st sl st), sl st in next sl st. *1 berry st in next sc. Sl st in next sl st. Repeat from the * all across, ending with a sl st in turning ch. Turn your work.
Row 5- Ch2 (counts as 1st sc), 1 sc in next sl st. *Sl st in next berry st. 1 sc in next sl st. Repeat from the * all across, ending with a sc in turning ch. Turn your work.
