If you're anything like me, it can be so frustrating attempting to do a lovely hairstyle, because no matter how hard you try, the end result never quite looks like the photos on Pinterest!

So now that you know my deep, dark secret I might as well admit I've had tons of difficulty doing a proper "Waterfall Braid", so in my frustration I had a moment of creativity and decided to create an easy version that anyone can do!
What are some other hair tutorials you'd like to see in my little corner of the blogosphere?

What You'll Need
1" Inch Curling Iron
1 Small Clear Elastic Hairband
Hairspray
Heat Protectant
Bobby Pins - Optional

{Note: This hairstyle only works on shoulder length hair or longer.}

1. Start of with clean, curly hair. If you have naturally curly hair like myself, you'll understand that not every single curl on your head stays in place or is frizz-free. So when one gets out of line it’s important to have a curling iron on hand to tame the beast!

For straight hair, section of your hair into 1 inch sections. Spray some heat protectant onto your hair before curling it. Once you've curled your hair, gently comb through the curls with your fingers. This helps create more natural looking curls as opposed to perfect little ringlets. {Note: This hairstyle works best on curly hair, but it looks just as cute on straight hair!}

2.  Beginning at the front of the head, on the right side, section out 1 large strand of hair. Lightly twist the first section before selecting a new strand of hair. {Note: You'll want to keep the spaces between your sections no larger than 1 inch, otherwise you'll lose the waterfall effect.}
Now, taking the second section, bring it underneath the first section and wrap it over the top. Gently let go of the first section, so it literally falls through like in a waterfall braid. The second section has now become the first section.

3. Repeat step 2 all the way around the back of the head, working towards the left ear.
Remember, you want to keep the strands of hair your working with roughly the same size, so that the twist looks even all around.

4. Once you've finished your last twist, bring a piece of hair from the front, on the left side before taking your clear elastic hairband and tie it up. Optional - You can also add a few bobby pins to your twisted waterfall braid to firmly secure it.

5. Finish with a gentle veil of hairspray.

Hope you all enjoyed this easy Bohemian hair tutorial!
If you did re-create this look, please post a photo of onto my Facebook Page.
I'd love to see it!
Have a lovely day everyone,
