As I look forward to a week full of winter-y rain {Note the sarcasm}, I envy my readers living in the northern hemisphere with their golden tans and lovely warm summer days!..Hopefully this boho headband will help keep my warm-day cravings at bay, and prevent me from breaking out in a summertime song with Olaf!

What You'll Need
3.50mm Crochet Hook
30g of 8ply {DK} Cotton Yarn
3x Pearls {0.4 Inches x 0.4 Inches}
Scissors
Tapestry/Wool Needle

Finished Size:
This headband fits all sizes.
{Easily adjustable, as explained in pattern}

Taking your 3.50mm crochet hook and DK cotton yarn, start of by making a Slip Knot, then crochet 81 Chains. {Note: You can either add or take away a couple of sets of 4 chains depending on your head's circumference.}
Row 1~ Chain 1. Crochet 1 Single Crochet into the same stitch. *Skip 1 stitch, then crochet 4 Double Crochets. Skip 1 stitch, then crochet 1 Single Crochet. Repeat from the * all across. In the last stitch crochet 1 Single Crochet, Chain 1, crochet 1 Single Crochet then Chain 1.
{Note: The extra chains and Single Crochet will turn your work around, and upside down. Now you're going to continue crocheting into the bottom of the row of chains.}
Now, crocheting on the other side, crochet 1 Single Crochet in the 1st stitch. Slip Stitch into the top of chain 1.
Fasten off, and weave in loose ends.

Braided Tassels
Cut 5 strands of cotton yarn, making sure each strand is 27 inches long. Fold each strand in half, then tie a knot to the one end of the headband. Make a loose braid, then tie a knot 1 inch from the end.
{Note: My braid measured approx. 8 inches once completed.}Create another braid on the other side of the headband.

~ Forget-Me-Nots ~

Round 1~ Taking your 3.50mm crochet hook and DK cotton yarn, start of by making a Slip Knot, then crochet 3 Chains. Crochet 1 Double Crochet Decrease into the first chain you made. Chain 2, then Slip Stitch down into the center of the round. {Note: You're going to continue crocheting into the VERY first chain/loop you made at the start of this round, for the rest of the round.} *Chain 2, then crochet 1 Double Crochet Decrease. Chain 2, then Slip Stitch down into the center of the round. Repeat from * mark 3 more times. You should have 5 petals now.
Fasten off, and weave in loose ends.
Repeat forget-me-nots pattern twice, making sure that each flower is a different colour. After creating the flowers, take a sewing needle and thread, and sew a pearl in the middle of each forget-me-not. Once you've crocheted all forget-me-nots, sew them onto the front of your headband. {Note: I sewed mine off-center.}

Hope you all enjoyed this pattern for a boho headband!
